Color It By Numbers Review & Giveaway

You know what makes me crazy? Markers. And crayons. And paint. Now these things individually don’t make me crazy, but when paired with a toddler or preschooler who decides to take creative license and doodle all over their bed, my walls, and every other non-crafting surface in my house, I get a little nuts. I don’t care how many times we go over the fact that coloring is for paper only, I will still see little dash marks around my house. I can do my best to make sure each and every crayon is put away, but a stray somehow always finds their little hands (…are they stashing them somewhere?! Crayon contraband!)

Of course, I still let them color and craft (I’m not a total Debbie Downer mom!), but when I found out about Color It By Numbers, I was so excited! My 4 year old just recently mastered the use of a track pad mouse, and loves to play on my computer. Color It By Numbers is a really awesome piece of software that is exactly what it sounds like — color by numbers! With great picture sets like animals, princesses, and vehicles, there’s tons of pictures to choose from. My daughter loves the animals set, and really enjoys the feature that lets you pick the colors for each assigned number. Sure, this results in some wacky looking pictures, but they’re original!

I of course love the Princess one, but my 5 year old son would prefer the Vehicles.
