I am a self-professed cereal addict. With each of my pregnancies, the need for cereal increased, and it got to the point to where I could easily eat cereal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Literally. It was just so good! Easy, too. Hungry? Just pour myself a bowl of cereal and voila! Delicious little meal, wrapped up in a tidy little bowl. Ahh, cereal heaven.
So when Kellogg’s came out with its new FiberPlus line, I knew I had to try it. Kellogg’s FiberPlus Cereals are an excellent source of several essential nutrients including fiber and the antioxidant vitamins C and E. Now that I have a sweet little 2 month old, I need to start eating better and lay off the Fruit Loops and put healthier cereals into my diet. I received two boxes to try — Kellogg’s FiberPlus Berry Yogurt Crunch and Cinnamon Oat Crunch. Giddy with excitement, I busted open the Berry Yogurt Crunch box and immediately poured a bowl before the UPS man even got to pull out of my driveway. It is such a delicious blend of sweet and crunchy! The yogurt clusters are divine, and they made the milk a tasty berry flavor (’cause you KNOW drinking the milk at the end is my favorite part)!
The next morning, I poured myself a bowl of the Cinnamon Oat Crunch flavor. These happy little rings (much like Cheerios shapes) are so. good. They have just the right amount of cinnamon flavor, and they are perfect for an every-morning breakfast.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this product! I feel it’s a great way to get fiber into my diet without giving up the foods I love.
