Johnson & Johnson Healthy Essentials + $190 in savings!

With kids in the house, we go through a ton of toiletries. From lotion to Band-Aids, we go through a lot of toiletry staples. Johnson and Johnson has launched a new campaign called “Healthy Essentials” geared at saving you money on the things that you buy the most. I was sent a few things to try out, and I want to let you guys know what I think!

I was so excited to see the goodies from Johnson and Johnson when I opened the box. They must know what we use a lot, because each thing we received would be put to great use! Included in the Healthy Essentials package was Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15, Band-Aid Brand by Cynthia Rowley Adhesive Bandages, Johnson’s Baby Lotion, Listerine, Neutrogena Hand Cream Norwegian Formula, and Splenda Essentials.

Straight away, one of my favorites was the Aveeno lotion. I LIVE for this stuff. With our cold winters, my skin gets so dry. Add on some serious hand washing to keep sickies at bay, and my hands need some serious moisture. I love the Aveeno because I can use it all over, and it doesn’t feel greasy or slimy. You can buy it for $16.59/4 fl. oz, available at food, drug and mass merchandisers nationwide.

Additionally, the Johnson’s Baby Lotion is always in need here. With an 8 month old, I’ve got to make sure she’s not getting dry, tight skin. I’ll admit it. Sometimes I’ll use this lotion on my hands just so I can smell it. Yours for $2.99/15 oz., available at food, drug and mass merchandisers nationwide.

My kids were drawn to the “fancy Band-Aids“. These are cute enough for a grown up! Never again will I be caught dead in a Dora Band-Aid. These have super cute patterns like sequins and black lace! These are way adorable! You can snag these for $2.75/20 assorted bandages, available at Target stores nationwide.

The coolest product was the Splenda Essentials sweetener. Now you can have your sweets and vitamins, too! Each packet contains either fiber, antioxidants or B Vitamins. How cool is that? I’d dig the antioxidants variety, myself. This is just such an easy way to sneak in some good-for-you stuff into your sweets! You can pick these up for $4.29/80-count box, available at grocery stores, supermarkets and online at

I recently took the Listerine Oral Care Challenge, and I can seriously say that I’m hooked on Listerine. Is that weird? I can’t get over how fresh my mouth feels. I don’t know why I’ve ever been hesitant to use it before. It can be a little overwhelming, but Listerine also has alcohol free versions, too! Listerine is $5.99/1 liter bottle, available at food, drug and mass merchandisers nationwide.

The only product I wasn’t a huge fan of was the Neutrogena hand cream. It’s super concentrated, so if you use too much, you’ll have a greasy mess on your hands. Literally. It would be really great for people who need serious help with dry skin! The moisturizing effects can last up to 17 hours. It retails for $3.99/2 oz. tube, available at national food, drug and mass merchandisers.
