    We used to go camping every Fathers day when I was young and we would fish with my Dad now he has passed away and our foster children , adopted children and grandchildren get this joy with my husband every year and they look forward to it with great joy

  11. When My Husband and I moved to Tennessee and My Dad and Mom showed up on Fathers Day from Michigan What a wonderful surprise.

    Celebrating Father’s day with husband the first year he was a “Daddy” was really special for all of us. The doctor’s had told him that he would never have any children so this made it an extra special day. We had four children total in six years…glad the doctor’s were wrong.

    My fondest father’s day memory was the one when I was eight or nine. I spent the whole day in my dad’s recliner with him watching John Wayne movies. Many other years we celebrated by buying gifts, however this was the most memorable for me.

  17. My favorite Father’s Day memory? It’ll be coming up this year. My father was a terrible man, and I don’t have any good memories associated with the holiday. But this year – this year, my husband is a daddy, and all that is about to change *hearts*

    my husband’s first fathers day I made some crafts with our daughter (footprint signature since she was 2 months old). It was fun showing him how much i appreciate all he does for our daughter.

    There’s nothing more that I can wish with the things that my father did to me, he is always there to provide huge thing that makes me happy… I do love to give it to my dad…

  23. My favorite father’s day memory was my husband 1st Father’s day. Our daughter was just a few weeks old and it was all so new and wonderful to have our daughter with us.

  24. I remember one special Father’s Day when my dad, brother, and a close friend (father-in-law to my brother) all celebrated the day together here are our house with a cook out! :)

    when I was younger, we never really celebrated Father’s Day.. but last year was my hubby’s first father’s day. Our son wasn’t born yet, but I wrote a card from our son to his daddy and gave him a “Father” shirt :)
