Dawn Power Clean Challenge

I used to live in a house that had no dishwasher. Now, when you’re in the kitchen doing dishes for a solid hour each day, you want a hardcore, heavy duty dish soap that will do its part to get your dishes clean! I’ve been a Dawn fan for a while (I love Dawn Hand Renewal with Olay!), and I was excited to try out their Power Clean dish soap!

I love to bake, but I hate that it always results in having to soak your bakeware overnight before you are actually able to wash it. It happens with lots of dishes — lasagna pans, cookie sheets, pizza stones, crock pots, etc. My favorite meal is bbq pulled pork in the crock pot, but I rarely make it because it creates such a mess! After 12+ hours on low, a crock pot can really get grody, and I always had to soak it overnight before I could wash it the next day.

With Dawn’s line of power products, you can get the amazing power of an overnight soak in just five minutes. These products cut grease and dissolve tough foods on your everyday dishes (even the ones you bake in) without the effort of elbow grease! I gave Dawn Power Clean a try on my microwave egg cooker that I left sitting on the counter. Oops.

It got nice and hard. Gross! I’d normally let this soak for a few hours. Instead, I let Dawn Power Clean have at it for a few minutes. It came clean with ease! I used the Scotch-Brite scrubby sponge and it was easy peasy to clean off the cooked on egg.

What’s really cool about Dawn Power Clean is that it has micro-scrubbing enzymes that power through food messes with ease, from everyday grease to tough lasagna dishes! Dawn Power Clean is available in Refreshing Rain Scent and Vibrant Fresh Scent. It’s pleasant enough to use it for hand washing if you need to! I was really happy with the results, and I will definitely be using Dawn Power Clean again in the future. As you can see from my photo above, I’ve already used quite a bit of it!
