Baby Trend High Chair Review

So up until about a month ago,Maisy (the 12 month old) had been using a recalled IKEA high chair that posed a pretty serious fall hazrad. Maisy could easily stand up in the chair and fall out — and that’s no good! After looking over at her to find her standing in her high chair, I had enough. I set out to find a great high chair that wouldn’t break the bank.

When I saw the prints that Baby Trend had available I was instantly hooked. I knew that they were super adorable, but I had no idea how versatile the chair would be. I received the Chickadee print — isn’t it adorable? So cute! The chair is really well-equipped, too!

  • 3 – Position seat recline
  • 6 – Position height adjustment
  • 5-point safety harness with soft harness cover
  • Dishwasher safe serving tray
  • Large storage basket
  • Compact free-standing fold
  • Tray storage
  • Large castor wheels with brakes
  • Easy wipe-clean/washable seat pad
My favorite part is the dishwasher safe serving tray, for sure. I love that I can just pop that bad boy into the dishwasher after meal time, and I don’t have to deal with wiping food out of tiny crevices! Of course, the feature that I was missing the most while I used the IKEA chair? The 5-point safety harness. Maisy is locked and loaded in this chair, and she’s not going anywhere.

I love the spacious under-seat basket, too. It’s perfect for bibs and other wiper-uppers! The recline is perfect for a smaller infant who is beginning their foray into solids! And the tray storage on the back? Ideal. I love that I can fold up the chair, hook the tray on, and it just slides into my pantry. Perfect!

For me, the best part about the Trend High Chair is that it retails for around $70, depending on the design and style. It’s got just enough “bells and whistles” without being overbearing, and best of all — it keeps my kiddo safe during meal times. I give it 5 stars, for sure!
I received a high chair for the purpose of review. No money exchanged hands. All opinions are my own.

Our daughter started using this highchair at around 4 months and she seems to love it. The great feature on it is that it has 3 recline positions and many height adjustments. The chair is easy to store away as well. It is very easy to use and it is very sturdy. This chair is very well made as the fabric is easy to clean. The pattern is so cute and we love the neutral colors. We recommend the matching pack and play as well!
