Low Calorie, High Protein Ranch Dressing

I eat a salad almost daily, and I really love how filling they can be. But what I don’t love is loading it with calorie laden dressings! I am a ranch dressing girl through and through, and I could never get into the vinaigrette thing. So I set out to find a better-for-you recipe for my beloved dressing!

You’ll Need:

  • 1 container of plain greek yogurt (I used Chobani)
  • 1 packet of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix (NOT dip mix!)
  • 1/2 cup of skim milk

If you want to make a super-clean eating version, you can even make your own ranch mix and skip the packet!

  • 2 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
Empty your container of yogurt into a mixing bowl. Add in milk and dressing mix. Whisk together, and voila! You’ve got a bottle of ranch dressing that can pack 26 grams of protein, and under 200 calories for the entire batch! I’d even go as far as to say that it’s BETTER than traditional ranch!

Do you know how many points it would be for one serving, and how much you use per serving? I am also a ranch addict!! :)
