Andrew and I have wrapped up our second month on Nutrisystem, and we are kicking tush and taking names, if you ask me! We’ve got our next order of food on the way, and I can’t wait to try some of the new food that Nutrisystem is offering! I have fallen in love with the Flame Broiled Beef Patty — and Nutrisystem is stepping up their game with the new Hickory Smoke Flavored Beef Patty! It’s easy to skip the drive through when you can have this bad boy for dinner:
One step at a time.
This week has been pretty normal. By normal, of course, I mean really busy. Parent teacher conferences were this week, and I took the big kids to the dentist. I did make one major accomplishment, however — I ran 5K! What?! It was hard and easy at the same time. I knew that I could physically do it, but it was all about putting one foot in front of the other. I do think that I need to figure out my before/during/after run water consumption. I drank water during the run, and it kind of upset my stomach. Overall, it felt great to know that I could actually do it without dying or puking, ha! (Are you ready to start running? Here’s my game plan for how to prepare for a 5K.)
This week, I wanted to do a Q&A sesh of sorts for my video update. I’ve been getting some questions about the program, and I’ve got answers!
The Weigh In
It’s time to see how we did! I am about to burst with joy because as of this morning, I’ve lost 20.6 pounds — OMG! That’s how much my 1 year old weighs! I’ve lost a whole toddler! That puts me at 186.8 pounds. And what makes this weigh in even sweeter is that Andrew weighed in as well and has lost 20 pounds! YES! Not too shabby for two months of hard work, huh?
