Even though the dog days of summer are over (…just call me Florence, ha!), I still love to be able to treat my family to frozen treats! Unfortunately, they tend to gravitate towards calorie laden ice creams and novelty bars. I found out about Whole Fruit Smoothies, and I had to give them a try!

We received one box of each flavor, and straight away, the Mixed Berry and Strawberry Banana were the clear favorites! My husband used to always snack on those Otter Pops or Italian ice cups, but he loved these just as much, if not more! And the fact that there’s real fruit chunks in each cup is pretty awesome. My kids thought they were being treated big time, and I liked that they weren’t eating chocolate covered chocolate “frozen dairy dessert” on a stick, y’know?
The Pineapple Mango wasn’t our favorite, but we’re not mango fans, so that’s not a surprise. If you love mango, I’m sure you’ll love the Whole Fruit Smoothies! The texture was great, and my kids could feed it to themselves — it didn’t freeze up so solid that you had to chisel it out of the cup.
