Nutrisystem Week 24: Sometimes, I really amaze myself! #NSNation #spon

nutrisystem-logoI want to highlight the new foods that you can get on Nutrisystem! With the new year, Nutrisystem rolled out a ton of new food choices, and they look absolutely amazing. I’m sad that I wont be able to try these new goodies since next Wednesday will be my last Nutrisystem weigh in! With foods like Cinnamon Streusel Muffin, Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin, and Broccoli and Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breast, you wont feel like you’re dieting!

She ended up signing up for the Women’s Core plan! She really loved the convenience of the bars for breakfast and lunch. She’s a cosmetologist, so she’s at her salon often. It’ll be great for her to toss into her bag and head out the door! I can’t wait to see how she does. Right now, Nutrisystem is 50% off, so she got a great deal!

Recovering from Christmas

Remember last week in my video update, I told you guys that I gained weight? I still hate that I had to weigh in the morning after Christmas, but I’m glad that I did. Sometimes you just need a slap in the face, right? It was just what I needed to kick me into high gear and buckle down. I’ve rediscovered my love for my Wii, and I’ve done something pretty much every day, whether it was bowling or Zumba. We took many walks and runs, and my mother in law would pull two kids in the bike trailer while I ran with one in the jogger. We were a travelling circus of sorts, but we got our workouts in!

Week after Christmas CollageI look a little crazy eyed (Ramona Singer, anyone?), but hey, I’d just run 3.2 miles! I really need to make sure I keep up my endurance for the Color Run this month! I can’t wait for it. I know it’s a “fun race”, and I wont be running for time per se, but I am just so excited to be a part of it. I need to buy a white shirt! Don’t let me forget, you guys!

Unexpected changes

When you lose weight, there’s some obvious things that will change — you will slim down, you’ll eat less, etc. But there’s things that you don’t think about that are seemingly insignificant to people who haven’t gone through a dramatic loss before. I posted on Facebook a week ago or so that I am still in a state of disbelief about my measurements. I was shopping online for new jeans, and I took my measurements. I kept looking at size  charts and I just kept remeasuring and remeasuring. I can’t *really* fit into a size 14, can I? In the past, I would always buy a size up from my first instinct — just in case I gained even more weight. I went to Target this week and bought shirts from the juniors section, size large. They fit beautifully. My mind is continually blown by the transformation I’ve gone through.

Next week (my last official Nutrisystem week! Omg!), I’ll be doing a ton of before/after photos. Me in my old shirts, jeans, and a new side by side picture. Remember when I looked like this?

NutrisystemBeforeI had just settled into being overweight for the rest of my life. I figured that this is the way it was going to be, and I wasn’t going to be able to change it. It makes me sad to remember the nights that I would spend laying awake, thinking about how I was going to change this or that, but never having the tools, motivation, or honestly, self worth to follow through. I am forever thankful that Nutrisystem came into my life and helped me lose all of this weight! Which leads me to…

The Weigh In

Last week was a nasty weigh in. I gained weight, and I was still bouncing around the 170s — I have been in the 170s for TEN GRUELING, AGONIZING, INFURIATING WEEKS. I’ve never hated the number seven any more than I do now, haha! Well that all ends TODAY, BABY. I weighed in this morning at 169.8 pounds!! I want to buy a billboard and plaster my weight all over it, I’m so happy! That means I lost FOUR POUNDS this week. 4! I know this paragraph has bold and caps lock overload but I am beaming from ear to ear, y’all!! I have lost a total of 37.6 pounds on Nutrisystem!

Andrew weighed in and didn’t budge :(. But we did get him some running/walking shoes this week, so he’s ready to hit the pavement with me! I’ve noticed he’s starting to track his food a little bit better, too! He’s lost a total of 33 pounds on Nutrisystem — which is nothing to sneeze at!
